Working as freelancer for individual artists, scientists and clients e.g. www.stadtmuseum.de, www.f4wpeace.com and www.salve-research.org, David is doing visualisation and animations. His services include storyboarding, on location preview, backplate and HDR shooting, 3D tracking, data preparation, matte painting and compositing. He is using the open-source 3d-application Blender.org for animation and visualisation tasks.
David studied at the Berlin University of the Arts in Germany (1998). He has received a grant from the Erasmus Scholarship at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London (2000), and a grant from the NICA Scholarship at Canberra School of Arts, Australia (2002). He did the Staatsexamen at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2004. In the same year he was doing an artist residency at Triangle France in Marseille/France.
Having participated at a couple of international fine art exhibitions, he started as trainee teacher at a public school in Cologne/Germany. In 2005 and in 2007 his two kids certified him as conceptual proud dad. 2008 David improved his skills as digital artist taking a further education seminar 3D Animation Design at Cimdata Media Akademie Berlin. 2010 David took a further education workshop Blender 3D at Leipzig School of Design.
